She Objects

Every day, we are bombarded with mainstream media that objectifies women, glorifies thinness and portrays women in stereotypical roles. Given this generation’s mass consumption of social media, it becomes difficult to distinguish between airbrushed fantasy from reality. To spotlight these issues, The Women’s Foundation has produced She Objects, a documentary that examines the scale and impact of media influences in Hong Kong, particularly on younger audiences.
